Edinburgh – A Lucy & Alice Adventure

Three weeks ago I got married to my best friend and sadly due to work commitments my now husband and I were unable to go on honeymoon right away. So, meet Lucy, even though she is one of my oldest friends she feels more like a sister. Rather than me stay at home and work whilst my husband was away on a course we decided to go on our very own adventure.

We booked a few days away in Edinburgh and set about exploring the city,  its book shops and its many bars and restaurants. We even managed to fit in a little spa visit!

One of our favourite pit stops was to the Edinburgh Gin distillery. We had a great time on the tour and LOVED tasting their delicious gins and liqueurs. We found our favourite, the Seaside Gin, and couldn’t resist buying a bottle to take home to make up our own G&T’s. I would highly recommend a visit, everyone was so friendly and definitely knew their Gin!

I was so busy having fun that I didn’t manage to capture it all but please enjoy the few photos I did!

We are already looking into our next adventure, we might even consider bringing our other halves along too!
